Innovation Bakers, LLC, based in Fullerton, CA, is voluntarily recalling a limited batch of its 3.5 oz packs of 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie (05254856392) due to the potential presence of undeclared walnuts. According to the FDA press release, this poses a serious risk for individuals with walnut allergies or severe sensitivities, as consuming these brownies could lead to severe or life-threatening allergic reactions.
This recall impacted 2,081 single-serve units of the 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie, which were exclusively distributed to 7-Eleven locations in Southern California, with deliveries made on September 8 and September 9, 2024. To date, the FDA reports there have been no reported illnesses linked to this matter.
The FDA has been informed, and a voluntary recall was initiated after it was found that a product containing walnuts was sold in packaging that failed to disclose the presence of walnuts. No other products from 7-Eleven are affected by this recall.
Customers who have purchased the 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie 3.5 oz packs (05254856392) with the Best By Wednesday 0911 Lot Code are advised not to eat the product. They can either throw it away, return it to the store for a full refund, or reach out to Innovation Bakers’ Customer Service for help.
