Bobby Sessions grew up in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. Bobby's family relocated to Rowlett when he was a teenager. Poetry is Bobby's preferred and most well-known artistic medium. At the University of North Texas in 2010, he composed his first poetry with music, and he hasn't looked back since.
In a little more than a year since the publication of LOA (Law of Attraction), Bobby's project Grateful made its debut. The album's debut song, "Grateful", which was created by Sikwitit and PICNICTYME and included graphics by German Torres, was first released by Bobby, followed by "First World Problems".
On June 11th, Bobby Sessions' extensive body of work, MANIFEST, will be made available. Bobby Sessions discusses the musical concept of the law of attraction, or the idea that one can achieve anything they put their focus on, lies at the core of the album. Sessions, a native of Dallas, has used manifestation to reach to this point in his career, so it is a full circle moment for him. He has always wanted to present his views in a more engaging way and from an angle that would interest a wider audience.
His most recent single, track-iii, released on August 18, 2022, is one of his best to date.
Lyrics:
Raised different
Beast inside the jungle we behave different
K Clip drop and hit the floor I make it rain nigga
Shape shifter
Bitches on me now because my rank different
Fuck her on the 1st night
She wanna leave her main nigga
Raised different
Beast inside the jungle we behave different
K Clip drop and hit the floor I make it rain nigga
Shape shifter
Bitches on me now because my rank different
Fuck her on the 1st night
She wanna leave her main nigga
Disrespect my daughter you must wanna die
Funeral ya fam gone flood the street to watch your momma cry
We don’t give a fuck bout who is who bitch you don’t wanna try
Treat an opp like rubic cube and spin the block 100 times
Rich from rap like selling bricks of white
The corner flipping dice
Roll a 7
With a 3 and 4
The photo of my life
Money first
It’s over everything like chicken over rice
Ghetto bitch
Her mouth like poetry
She quick to grip the mic
Raised different
Beast inside the jungle we behave different
K Clip drop and hit the floor I make it rain nigga
Shape shifter
Bitches on me now because my rank different
Fuck her on the 1st night
She wanna leave her main nigga
Raised different
Beast inside the jungle we behave different
K Clip drop and hit the floor I make it rain nigga
Shape shifter
Bitches on me now because my rank different
Fuck her on the 1st night
She wanna leave her main nigga
Bend the corner like a paper plane
Way back in 2nd grade
Catch a fade
Brush my head with that 360 wave
Raised to know
That blacks ain’t never safe
Inside the USA
You a thug
Or gunna be the plug
To try to move some weight
Lose or win
Take lyrics from your pen
To try and build a case
Tap ya calls
Ya picture on the wall
Put exes on your face
Pursue the top
Be cool if you get hot
They wanna stop the growth
Dirty game I play the Cotton bowl since I had snotty nose
We was kids
Picking up these guns cause we from the trenches
I was young
They tell me bout the Lord
I talk
I hope he listen
I apologize for all my sins
I hope I get forgiveness
Inner city
I see lions bears tigers sharks gorillas
Wanna dodge the snakes
They call the jakes
Hoping that they get us
Walk inside the bank
They scrunch their face because I am a nigga
Ain’t no hand to pull us out the mud so we just pulling triggers
Ain’t no hand to push us to be great
They push us in the prisons
Me vs Me
Gotta close the gap
From who I am and who I want to be
Who I want to be
Break the chain inside
Unlock my mind
Set my niggas free
Me vs Me
Gotta close the gap
From who I am and who I want to be
Who I want to be
In the streets walking with a piece
Hoping I get peace
I believe everything I speak
Said I’m done with beef like I’m vegan
If you got your mind
Better keep on dreaming
When the bullets go inside your body
That ain’t healthy either nigga
Me vs Me
Me vs Me
You don’t know me
I’m talking to the old me
Like an OG
What’s for me is for me
Me vs Me
Gotta close the gap
From who I am and who I want to be
Who I want to be
Break the chain inside
Unlock my mind
Set my niggas free
Me vs Me
Gotta close the gap
From who I am and who I want to be
Who I want to be
I hope you listen to my story
